Excelent microbial growth resistance
• Ensure that the surface is clean and free from dampness, dirt and other contamination
• For areas severly affected by algae and fungi, ensure that the surface is completely cleaned with Bio-wash before intiating the painting process
• Sand the surface using Emery Paper No. 180 and clean thoroughly. Ensure that no loose particles are sticking to the wall
• Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. The coating process can be started after a minimum period of 30 days.
INTERIOR WALLS:
- Apply 2 coats of Aquafresh / Altura Wall Primer with an interval of 4 – 5 hrs between subsequent coats. Undulations in the wall can be leveled by using MRF Vilasa Wall Putty. Putty should be used between the first and second coat of Aquafresh/Altura Wall Primer.
- Sanding of the putty shall be done as per recommendation. Sanding of the first and second coat of Aquafresh / Altura Wall Primer should be done with Sandpaper No. 320./li>
- Apply 2 coats of Altura Metalic Emulsion with an interval of 4 to 5 hrs between subsequent coats. Sanding should not be done between the coats.
EXTERIOR WALL:
- Apply 2 coats of Aquafresh/Altura Wall Primer with an interval of 4 – 5 hrs between subsequent coats. Sanding of the first and second coat of Aquafresh / Altura Wall Primer should be done with Sandpaper No. 320.
- Apply 2 coats of Altura Metalic Emulsion with an interval of 4 to 5 hrs between subsequent coats. Sanding should not be done between the coats.
